Xiaomi Redmi 4 Confirmed to Launch on November 4: 5 Things to Know About the Upcoming Budget Beast
Xiaomi is all geared up to launch their budget smartphone, namely, the Redmi 4.
Xiaomi has announced the launch date of its upcoming smartphone, the Redmi 4, which was widely expected to be unveiled alongside the Redmi Note 4 in August, but that didn't happen.
This is not the first time we are hearing about this budget smartphone. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 has been in news for a quite long time and has finally received the launch date.

The Apple of East has mentioned on their Weibo posted a teaser image of the smartphone along with the venue details and launch time. The smartphone will be unveiled at 7PM CST, which dubs as 4PM IST on November 4.

Along with the Redmi 4, another smartphone, Redmi 4A is also expected to be unveiled at the same event. That being, here are the details of the smartphone leaked till date.
Almost all the rumors till date suggest that the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 4 will sport a 5-inch 1080p display same as the Redmi 3s. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 is expected to feature the Qualcomm's mid-range Snapdragon 625 chipset, which is an octa-core chip with all the cores clocked at 1.4GHz. A couple of other rumors suggested that it might pack an Helio P10 chipset. We are expecting that the smartphone will be launched with Snapdragon processor in India rather than the MediaTek chipset. The rear camera will be accompanied by a single-tone LED flash as well. As seen on every Xiaomi device released this year, the Redmi is also said to feature the same 4100mAh battery. The Redmi 4 is expected to measure 8.9mm in thickness and will be available in grey, silver, and gold color options. As said earlier, we might also see another smartphone, the Redmi 4A, which is expected to feature the same 5-inch display, but the panel will be of 720p resolution. Under-the-hood, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 425 chipset along with 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter. The smartphone might be armed with a 3030mAh battery.
