Cupertino giant's latest launch of the Apple iPhone SE may have helped them gain some spotlight in this highly competitive smartphone market, but that doesn't stop the Apple of China to steal the show from Steve Job incepted brand. In fact the Chinese smartphone brand is prepping to launch their Xiaomi Mi Note 2 soon or later and much of its specs have leaked already.
Previously a number of reports have cropped up regarding the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 but none was as exciting as this. For those unaware Xiaomi Mi5 was the first of those handsets from the Chinese maker which caught the imagination of the entire world. Well, the Mi Note 2 is no different, in fact it better - provided the leaks turn out to be true!
While initial rumours had hinted that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will come with a 5.7 inch QHD Dual Edged display, it seems that it mayn't be the case. Apparently the latest report state that it will come with a display similar to one seen in the first gen Xiaomi Mi Note. This means that the Mi Note 2 will come with a 2.5D/3D curved glass on the top.
Surprisingly though, the Mi Note 2 might come with 3D Touch display - similar to one seen in the Huawei Mate, ZTE Axon Mini and the iPhone 6S. Just to recall despite carrying forward much of the specs of the iPhone 6S, the all-new 4 inch smartphone from Apple misses out on the Force Touch technology.
If reports are to be believed the Mi Note 2 will be much more powerful than the recently launched Xiaomi Mi5. As per leaks, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 which aims to take a dig at the Apple iPhone SE will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 chip. Incidentally not much details regarding the chip is known as of yet. But one thing is for sure - it will be powerful than the current flagship Snapdragon 820.
No, we aren't talking about the ICC T20 World Cup here. Instead the word ‘Six' signifies the amount of RAM inside the Mi Note 2. Just in case the rumours turn out to be true the Mi Note 2 will join the elite league of smartphone to come with such high RAM onboard.
Xiaomi is reported to launch a 256GB storage variant of the Mi Note 2. Apart from this the Mi Note 2 may also come in 32GB/64GB/128GB variants. For those unware Asus was the first manufacturer to introduce a smartphone with 256GB of internal storage. So you surely use the Mi Note 2 as your external hard disk, what say?
The Mi Note 2 is prepped with a feature a 16MP rear camera equipped with Sony IMX298 sensor. This is apparently the same camera module as seen in the flagship Xiaomi Mi5. The rear camera module will further be backed by a 4-Axis OIS.
