ZTE Blade A2 and Nubia Z11 Max Announced: Here's Everything You Need to Know

ZTE unveiled a couple of new smartphones - ZTE Blade A2 and Nubia Z11 Max in the Chinese market. As of now, the global availability of these smartphones is not revealed by the manufacturer.

Spec Sheet of ZTE Blade A2

The ZTE Blade A2 boasts a 5-inch HD 720p IPS 2.5D curved display and it is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 processor with Mali T860 GPU and 2 GB RAM. There is 16 GB native memory capacity that can be expanded up to 128 GB with a micro SD card.

Based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, this smartphone features a 13 MP rear-facing camera along with Phase Detection Autofocus and LED flash. Also, there is a 5 MP front-facing selfie camera with LED flash at the front.

The other goodies on board the ZTE Blade A2 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Hybrid Dual SIM feature and a 2,500 mAh battery. As per ZTE, there is a 360-degree fingerprint sensor on the device that is quick enough to unlock it in just 0.3 seconds.

Spec Sheet of ZTE Nubia Z11 Max

The Nubia Z11 Max is a high-end smartphone that features a 6-inch FHD 1080p Super AMOLED 2.5D display that can render 100 percent NTSC color gamut. The screen has the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well.

Under its hood, there is an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor that is teamed up with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB default memory capacity that can be expanded up to 200 GB using a micro SD card. This device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop topped with Nubia UI 3.9.9.

The camera department includes a 16 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 6P lens, and dual-tone LED flash. There is an 8 MP front-facer that is paired with f/2.4 aperture, 80-degree wide angle lens, and 5P lens.

The other aspects include 4G VoLTE, GPS, USB Type-C port, and Bluetooth. There is a 4,000 mAh solid battery in the ZTE Nubia Z11 Max that can render great backup to the smartphone.

Being a high-end smartphone, the Zubia Z11 Max sports a fingerprint sensor at its back. Also, it comes in a Cristiano Ronaldo collector's edition featuring a laser curved signature of Ronaldo and his image on the back. It comes with a selfie stick, wallpapers, back cover, and more.

Pricing & Availability

The ZTE Blade A2 is priced at 699 Yuan (approx. Rs 7,000) and it will be available from June 15th in Gold, Gray, and Silver colors. The Nubia Z11 Max is priced at 1,999 Yuan (approx. Rs 20,000) and it will go on sale from June 16th in the same color variants as the Blade A2.

The Cristiano Ronaldo collector's edition carrries a price tag of 2,299 Yuan (approx. Rs 23,000) and it will go on sale from June 18.
