Today is the first time when the Chinese company started selling Redmi Note 4G in the country. The 4G-enabled handset went on its first flash sale at 2pm IST via Flipkart, and was priced at Rs. 9,999.
Just shortly after the sale ended, Xiaomi India Head Manu Kumar Jain announced on Twitter just how quickly they sold out the device in mere seconds.
At the same time, the major tech vendor has conveyed that they would be holding yet another flash sale for the Redmi Note 4G on January 6, and that registrations will begin on Tuesday at 6pm IST. Just like the first sale, Xiaomi has not disclosed how many units will be available for its second flash sale.
Xiaomi Redmi Note: Key Specifications
The Redmi Note packs a 5.5-inch HD display having a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The screen panel is based on the IPS technology and offer 178-degree wide viewing angles. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The 4G LTE variant of the Redmi Note comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset clocked at 1.4GHz. This one also uses Adreno 305 GPU as well. The phone uses a healthy 2GB of RAM.
The 4G LTE variant is a single SIM handset. Moreover, the phablet comes with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. In terms of storage, the come with 8GB of internal storage but varies a bit on microSD card.
Other features of the Xiaomi Redmi Note include: 4G, 3G, Dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and more. The MIUI v5 Android 4.4 (KitKat) powered device packs a massive 3,100mAh battery.
