First Windows Phone 7 Handset From Fujitsu Toshiba Announced
The Windows Phone 7 Mango has been around for some time now and many mobile handset manufacturers have partnered Microsoft to make the OS available in their handsets. The Smartphone OS though a little costly is as intuitive and flexible as the Android platform.
Several manufacturers have been hailed as the first to release a Windows Phone 7 Mango based mobile device like Nokia, Samsung, HTC and Motorola. All these manufacturers have been reported to be working on devices that will run the new Windows Phone 7 OS. But it is Fujitsu Toshiba that has blown the lid over all these well known giants in the Smartphone market as the company has announced the commercial launch of the first Windows Phone 7 Mango powered Smartphone which is christened by the company as fujitsu toshiba IS12T.
Fujitsu toshiba IS12T is also one of the slimmest phones to hit the market as from the specs revealed by Fujitsu the phone has a thickness of just 10.6 mm. Another interesting fact about the phone is that the manufacturer claims that the phone is waterproof and so it will be very handy at times.
Fujitsu Toshiba IS12T will be made available in Japan only in the initial stage and very soon the company will announce a worldwide launch.
The slim yet sexy looking model is one of the most powerful and high end Smartphones ever made according to its manufacturer Fujitsu Toshiba.
It will have a capacitive full touch screen based display having a size of 3.7 inches and the interface of the Windows Phone 7 Mango OS running in it will provide one of the best visual experiences found in Smartphones today. It has a single core Qualcomm MSM8655 processor coupled to a good amount of RAM memory that is more than enough to support the Windows OS running in it.
The phone features a massive 13.2 Mega Pixel camera at the rear end which will of course provide video recording in 1080p resolution.
Other details about the phone relating to multimedia and connectivity options were not revealed by the manufacturer but we can be assured that it will all be top class. IS12T will hit stores in Japan by September after Microsoft releases the new OS for commercial use.
The pricing of IS12T is yet to be revealed but going by the specs revealed the phone will be priced on the higher end of the spectrum.
