Global sale of Galaxy Note 2 smartphones from Samsung has crossed 3 million mark. The device had debuted in late September and has been witnessing marginally improved sales than its predecessor since then. Samsung has achieved a tremendous feat by making 3 million sales of the product within 37 days of its debut.
The sales growth witnessed is 3 times faster than that of the previous model Samsung Galaxy Note. Galaxy Note had also crossed 3 million mark, but it took the device 3 months to achieve this feat. This indicates the increase in popularity of Phablets, which are a combination of smartphones and tablet PCs.
In an official statement, Samsung mentioned that the rapid improvement in sales of Galaxy Note 2 has a meaning of not just creating a new category of smartphone, but also of popularizing the category.
Galaxy Note 2 truly opened a new chapter in the world of smart mobile devices. The device comes with biggest HD Super AMOLED display available in the market. The device is powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Galaxy Note 2 is also powered by a 1.6 GHz Quad-Core processor which provides efficient execution of operations. The display of the device sports a luxurious resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The picture quality is as sharp as that of Galaxy S III. The device is also thinner and narrower than Samsung Galaxy Note.
