Galaxy Note 5 Rumour Roundup: Release Date, Features, Specifications and More
For the past few years, Samsung has unveiled the new Galaxy Note device at a fall event in Berlin, Germany. This year too, the Korean giant is expected to hold a major press event where it is said to unveil the Galaxy Note 5.

This year, it is strongly rumoured Samsung will announce two flagship phones: a standard Galaxy Note 5 model and the other one with the dual edge screen, both markedly improved than their predecessor.
As always, dozens of other rumours abound, including a report that Samsung will announce the next-generation Gear watch with a round display.

While Samsung always keeps its mouth shut ahead of product announcements, leaks and rumours begin months ahead of the event.

Galaxy Note 5 May Feature 2K or 4K Resolution Display
It is highly expected that the top-notch beast may feature 2K or 4K resolution with a super AMOLED display. Rumours are pointing to a 5.7-inch display with a UHD or Ultra High Definition resolution.
Premium Design
In terms of design, Samsung's next-generation Galaxy Note 5 is expected to sport an all new design, featuring the metal and glass-clad design as the Galaxy S6. Samsung could also use a genuine leather or another luxury material that would make the Galaxy Note 5 stand out among its competitors.

‘Project Zen' Dual-Edge Variant Also Rumoured
If rumours are to be believed, the dual-edge display variant of the Galaxy Note 5 is said to be codenamed Project Zen. Apparently, the handset is said to feature a 5.4 or 5.5-inch Super AMOLED dual-edge curved display; hexa-core processor (Snapdragon 808); 16-megapixel rear camera with OIS; 8-megapixel front camera, and S Pen support.
Galaxy Note 5 To Feature Android M OS
Typically, the next Galaxy Note device will arrive running the newest iteration of Google's Android OS, known this time around as Android M. To be unveiled at Google I/0 on May 28, Android M see Google making radical changes to its mobile OS, most notably when it comes to design and productivity part.

Galaxy Note 5 Will Likely To Feature Exynos 7422
SamMobile citing people familiar with the matter claims that the Exynos 7422 might be the South Korean company's first all-in-one solution, which will include the CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, and modem on a single chip. The report further claims Samsung is internally testing Galaxy Note 5 with a newer Exynos 7430 chipset but that might be commercially available in 2016.
Galaxy Note 5 May Sport a 16MP Camera
Rumours have been fluctuating wildly about the camera, going from a 16-megapixel sensor to resolution itself remaining unchanged. In all likelihood, 16 megapixels will be what Samsung sticks with.
Samsung Tipped To Launch Gear A Smartwatch
A few back, Samsung first announced the Gear A smartwatch on its developer website, which showed a teaser image and a tagline that says "Get ready for the next Gear." Reports suggest that the Gear A smartwatch, currently known as Orbis, will be unveiled with the Galaxy Note 5, which is expected to be unveiled later this year. The Gear A is expected to be Samsung's first ever round watch.
