April is turning out to be the month, when India will witness the release of several flagship models that are aimed to debut the price fight. Already, HTC has announced the release of the most powerful warrior - HTC One in the Indian tech arena.

At the same time, the South Korean tech titan Samsung has also released the Galaxy S4 in the nation at a price of Rs 41,500, which is marginally less than the price of HTC One.

Well, its clear that when HTC One and the Samsung Galaxy S4 have been released in India and that both the titans will go head to head in the smartphone battleground.

But, the biggest question is on what factors will they try to win over the Indian consumers? Both the smartphones are the most popular Android devices of the year. Likewise other flagship smartphones, the two Android behemoths come with high-end specs including a large 1080p display, faster processor and more, but what about the other aspects that the consumers will have to look at before opting to buy one?

Well, all that can be said is, right now, specification wise the duo can beat each other in terms of different points. However, to win over each other the companies, they will have to focus on their pricing in order to lure the sales.

Analyzing the price of Galaxy S4 and HTC One, it is clear that both the smartphones not only have similar specifications, but also fall in the same price bracket.

On the other hand, Galaxy S4 comes with a 4.99 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with a stunning resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 441 ppi, Octa 5410 processor packing two quad core chips, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, 13MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 16GB internal storage, a micro SD card slot supporting up to 64GB expandable storage, 2GB RAM, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Infrared port and a 2,600 mAh battery.

Looking at the specifications and feature aspects of both the phones, Galaxy S4 and HTC One mainly differ in terms of operating system, camera, internal storage and overall UI. Galaxy S4 might be having a higher version of operating system and more internal memory capacity. But at the same time, HTC One comes with several camera features and a vivid hybrid user interface.

HTC One vs Samsung Galaxy S4: Price Strategy

It is clear that Samsung has aimed to take over HTC One with Galaxy S4 as the handset has been launched as well as released in the market a week prior to the release of the HTC's flagship handset. Moreover, the South Korean tech giant has also priced the Galaxy S4 marginally lesser than HTC in order to lure the consumers' interest.

But, it has to be noted that HTC One comes with 32GB internal storage capacity, which should be sufficient to save all the content, an UltraPixel camera with improved camera performance and a metallic build. Hence, consumers need not spend additionally on cases to protect the handset and also avoids the necessity of using specialized lens for improved photography.
