After launching a series of quad-core phones like the Dream D1 and the GPad-G2 in the past couple of months, Chinese smartphone vendor Gionee has today launched its latest smartphones ELife E3. The sleek quad core smartphone with an ultra-slim form factor is said to be available at retail stores by the end of this month for a decent price of Rs 14,999.
The smartphone has the following features:
Gionee ELife E3 comes with a 4.7 inch IPS display HD that gives a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 312ppi pixel density.
OS and Processor
The device is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor and PowerVR Series5XT GPU. The device runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) platform.
The device comes with 1 GB RAM, 16GB internal memory which can be further enhanced up to 32GB with micro SD.
It has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, 720p HD video recording and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for 3G video calling.
It has dual SIM support with dual standby mode. The device also is capable of supporting 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS
The device is powered by 1800 mAh battery.
Other than that, Gionee Elife E3 boasts of an in-built Digital Theater System (DTS) Sound and OTA (Over the Air) function for software upgrades. It features DTS 3D Surround Sound which will attract more music lovers and Proximity sensor, Ambient Light sensor, G-Sensors and Digital compass.
