Gionee Elife S4.8 With 5mm Thin Profile Leaks Online

It looks like the maker of the world's slimmest phone- Gionee is looking to break its own record of the thinnest smartphone with a new model. It's the upcoming GN9005, which will be probably called as the Gionee Elife S4.8 that we are talking about.

The smartphone, which has been reportedly said to hit the market shelves in a coming week will be the new slimmest phone of the world. This being said, most are already more than excited to see and feel the new slim device from Gionee. The Elife S5.5 has already impressed most of the smartphone lovers across the world with its 5.5mm thin build and now its thinner than that.

Those who are not so patient to wait till the unveiling might want to take a look at the latest alleged images that show the smartphone in its full glory.

The new Elife S4.8 from Gionee is believed to be thinner than the Elife S5.5 and is expected to be lesser than 5.5mm thin, which will make it earn the crown of the thinnest smartphone easily. The 4.8 in the name relates to the screen size, which happens to be a 4.8-inch Super Amoled model. Moreover, regarding the thickness, it expected to be close to 10% thinner than the Elife S5.5 smartphone. Other expect it to measure around 5mm.

If the specs of the smartphone is concerning you, since it has already passed through the network certification site TENAA , few specs like quad-core processor from Qualcomm, clocked at 1.2GHz along with 1GB of RAM are already something that we know about.

Apart from that the Gionee Elife S4.8 is said to feature an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2050mAh battery. One of the surprising parts of the phone is that it includes an LTE support.

At the moment, other specification of the handset is not available and since Gionee has not announced the smartphone at the moment, there are no word pertaining to the availability and pricing of the new slim device.
