While the focus in previous years might have been on black colored phones, the new era is all about flashing colors.
Last year, leading handset manufacturers came up with handsets in candylicious colors.
LG, which has gained a repute in the handset business, with slew of hit devices may add six new colors for the Nexus 5.
As of now, Google Nexus 5 is only available in black and white colors. Google branded Nexus 5 has been tagged as poor man's appetite.
According to blog site PhoneArena, Google may be planning to reveal LG made Nexus 5 in six new colors. The new colors include: Orange, Yellow, Red, Green, Blue and Purple. The folks over at PoneArena have got their hands on rare pictures and a video featuring Nexus 5 in different color options.
The video allegedly captures Nexus 5 with each new color option on Google Play Store. It is unknown whether Google has any such plans to offer Nexus 5 in different color tones. For a time being take this news as a pinch of salt.
It is good to see if Google ever offer Nexus 5 in so many color options. Motorola, a Google company, already offers both the Moto X and Moto G in different color tones. Even Apple launched the iPhone 5C in multiple colors. Back home, not a single domestic manufacturer is offering Android-based handsets in multiple color options.
Talking about LG Nexus 5, the phone has been a success so far citing positive reviews from critics. The device , which is available from Google Play Store for $300, comes with a 4.95-inch FHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of internal memory, 2,300mAh non-removable battery, 8MP rear-facing camera with OIS features , Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, and 4G LTE connectivity to name a few.
