After launching devices like the P1 and Dream D1 in the Indian market, Chinese smartphone maker Gionee today officially announced the launch of its 5.3-inch phablet GPad-G2 priced at Rs 13,990. Gionee GPad G2 runs on Android v4.1 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, PowerVR Series5XT GPU and 1 GB RAM.
Further, GPad G2 houses an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, 720p HD video recording and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera video chat, 4GB of internal memory and up to 32GB of expandable memory.
The Dual SIM phablet sports a 5.3 inches qHD IPS Capacitive Touchscreen Display with a screen resolution of 960 x 540 Pixels and also will come in Grey and White colors along with the support of 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB, GPRS. Moreover, Gionee GPad G2 is powered by a big 3,000 mAh battery.
In addtion, GPad G2 will come preloaded with popular social networking apps like Facebook, YouTube, NQ Security, Twitter and will come equipped with an in-built Digital Theatre System (DTS) Sound, YAMAHA 168 music system for enhanced audio experience. As an introductory offer, Gionee will also be packaging the phone with a 16GB microSD card, a Flip leather case and a screen guard.
