BlackBerry has made a re-entry into the cut-throat smartphone market once more and has introduced its brand new, square-shaped BlackBerry Passport handset. While we aren't seeing many takers for the handset for the time being, it's indeed a great gesture from Samsung to offer some kind of resistance to other big names.
However, in case you are all detailed about the specs of the handset, but somehow don't find its black color variant attractive, there's good news on the horizon for you. Apparently, the company is set launch a long-rumored white-themed Passport.
Excited? Well, just to curb down your enthusiasm a bit, know that this white variant of the handset was recently spotted in the UAE, where it will go on sale beginning December 1, according to a emirates247 report.
"The BlackBerry Passport has been really popular here and has been selling well," Mike Al-Mefleh, Senior Director, Product Management & Services Middle East, North Africa & Turkey, BlackBerry, told Emirates 24|7 during the recently concluded Gitex Technology Week in Dubai, recently.
While the good people of Dubai are set to be treated to the white version the new Passport, what about its counterparts in India? Well, for the time being, we don't know if we will indeed see one of those for sale. And even if we do, we are sure it could arrive as limited edition model.
But for the time being, you could check out our exclusive hands on for the Passport below. And stay tuned to Gizbot for more updates!
