As of recently, Samsung's marquee Galaxy S5 handset, alongside the Galaxy S4, have joined the league of non-Nexus devices to receive the unofficial build of CyanogenMod 12 (CM12) that features Android 5.0 Lollipop. Thanks to XDA developers, both the fifth and fourth generation Galaxy S series smartphones have now got an early bird Android 5.0 treatment via CM12 builds.

But how do you go about downloading and installing it? Well, it isn't rocket science and you are perfectly capable of following the procedure yourself. However, note that these builds are still in their beta version. Hence, bugs will come as a part for the package and cannot be installed as a daily driver.
