Within days after the launch of Facebook partnered HTC First, it seems like the vendor is in news for another handset as a device with the codename HTC 608t has been leaked.

According to a post made on Weibo, the 608t could boast a 4.5 inch display with qHD resolution, 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean topped with HTC Sense 5.0 UI.

Besides these bare minimum specifications, not much is known about the upcoming phone. It is not even clear at the moment if or at what price the Taiwanese company will eventually launch this phone in India.

Recently, HTC M4 and 606w have surfaced online. Of the duo, the 606w is rumored to come with UltraPixel camera and boast a 4.3 inch display, 1.2GHz dual core Snapdragon 400 chipset, 2GB RAM, Adreno 305 GPU, 16GB internal storage, UltraPixel camera, 1.6MP front camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS + GLONASS, dual SIM support and a 1,700 mAh battery. Besides, these specifications, HTC 606w runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS with Sense 5.0 UI.

When it comes to M4, the handset another mid-range offering could come with a 4.3 inch 720p HD display, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 2GB RAM, 4G LTE, 16GB internal memory and an astonishing 13MP rear camera.

If HTC 608t comes along with the impressive mid-range specifications including Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, the handset will definitely be a stiff competitior to the mid-range offerings launched by South Korean tech giant Samsung. Moreover, with the launch of different reasonable offerings including Desire L, it is clear that the Taiwanese tech firm is on the right track.
