Galaxy S4 Rival Alert: HTC Butterfly 2 Coming Later this Year

Far in the east, HTC is planning a sequel to hit Butterfly. After making HTC One official, the Taiwanese giant, now reports are in, a sequel to the HTC Butterfly is in works. HTC says that the device got a phenomenal response around the world including Asia in particular.Focus Taiwan reports that Ben Ho, Chief Marketing Officer, HTC, clears the air around HTC Butterfly 2.

Mr. Ho said the device was initially launched for the Japanese market, but as growth witnessed in the big screen phones around the world, which led to expansion of "Butterfly" in other territories as well. HTC India also launched the same device at a whooping Rs.45, 990. The handsome handset is the most expensive smartphone in India, even expensive than iPhone 5 (16GB).

Apart from high -end offerings, HTC will soon launch budget centric Desire P and Desire Q. However, the company didn't reveal the specs nor discussed the pricing with the media. This year, the Taiwanese vendor targets Samsung and Apple with HTC One - Company's flagship device for this calendar year. The aluminum crafted handset is blessed with UltraPixel camera along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB of RAM.
