HTC is doing all it takes to at least stay afloat in the smartphone business, if not boast a dominating presence in the market. And a way the company has sought out to keep doing that exactly is by bombarding the smartphone market with a host of mid-range smartphones that will make sure the company still manages to make something out of that region.
Now, as expected, a new device from HTC has been leaked on the web, dubbed HTC Desire 516. Apparently, the new device is said to come sporting a quad core CPU and a 5-inch display.

Moreover, the model that's been certified in China has TD-SCDMA connectivity, and is made for China Mobile. The handset is said to run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean for the moment, while featuring a quad-core 1.3GHz CPU, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, VGA front-facing camera, although only coming with 512MB of RAM.
Apart from that, there's a brand new update to the existence of the device saying that there are not one, but two different versions of the Desire 516: 516t, which has the all the features that have been mentioned above, and a 516w, which runs Android 4.3 and comes with 1GB of RAM and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.
