HTC, the troubled Taiwanese giant, has quietly announced Desire 600.Earlier this week, the handset made its appearance on web. Now the tech vendor has made the device official in select countries. However, HTC hasn't communicated the pricing. Back in February, the makers behind HTC One announced revamped Sense 5.1 UI. The newer version includes acclaimed features such as BlinkFeed, amongst others.
The Desire 600 is powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The Dual SIM handset comes loaded with 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad -core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 320. Its 4.5-inch Super LCD qHD display has a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The manufacturer added 8GB of ROM, but unfortunately you cannot expand it through microSD cards.
On the front panel you will find the presence of two dual - speaker, just like the HTC One. With collaboration with Beats Audio, the device won't be a bad music device. In the imaging department, you will find an 8-mega pixel rear facing camera with 720p HD video recording facility along with 1.3-mega pixel front facing camera for long video chat. Talking about the connectivity options, you will find the presence of 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. The HTC Desire 600 comes with a 1,860mAh battery fitted inside.
The other day both Desire 600 and Desire 200 were spotted in benchmarks. Now the Desire 600 is official; it is to be seen when one can see the coming of Desire 200 in the international market. The HTC Desire 200(Model no: 102e) features a 3.5-inch display with resolution of 320 X 480 pixels, 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory which can be expanded further via microSD cards, a 5-mega pixel rear facing camera , no front facing camera, and a 1,400mAh battery inside. It is said that the above mentioned handset may come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Stay tuned to GizBot.
