Recently, one of the most popular leakster @upleaks had already provided information regarding HTC‘s unannounced Desire 626 smartphone a few days back and the device has also been approved by China‘s Telecommunication Euipment Certification Center, imminently confirming its existence.
If it is true, then we all are going to see HTC Desire 626 announcement at this year's MWC in March. Although, the existence has now been confirmed though, not by HTC officially. But the agency has revealed some photos of it, alongside an almost complete list of features.

Suggesting that this is a mid-range handset and the specifications of the HTC Desire 626 goes with a 5-inch (720 x 1280). It currently running Android 4.4 KitKat, though it's said that it will be updated to Android Lollipop. The 626 handset which approved by China is powered by an octa-core MediaTek chipset clocked at 1.7GHz CPU and, contrary to what we initially heard, only has 1 GB of RAM and 8GB of storage space (expandable via microSD). LTE, a 13 MP rear camera with flash, and a 5 MP front-facing camera are also included.
