An unannounced HTC smartphone has appeared online today. Marked with the model name Desire D816h, the smartphone visited the TENAA website, which is the Chinese equivalent of FCC. The device, as the name suggests, is just another version of the HTC Desire 816 mid-ranger.
Although, the Taiwanese smartphone maker has not made it official yet, most of the specs of the Desire D816h has leaked via the same certification site.
Thus the phone in question is a downsized version of the HTC Desire 816. The Desire D816h sports a 5-Inch display, which is against the larger 5.5-inch screen of the Desire 816.
The HTC Desire D816h is apparently powered by MediaTek MT6592 SoC with 1.7GHz octa-core CPU coupled with 1GB of RAM. The rest of its specs include 8GB of expandable memory, 8MP main camera, 5MP front-facing unit, and Android 4.4.2. It should be noted that unlike all the new smartphones being launched by premium smartphoens in the mid-range segment, this one comes with no LTE support.
The upcoming HTC Desire D816h measures 156.6×78.7×8 mm in dimension and weighs in at 162 grams.
HTC is yet to officially talk about the upcoming smartphone. HTC has already launched two versions of Desire 816 so far. This latest one should make the third one in the Desire 816 line-up soon.
