After announcing the smartphone globally just a week back at the New York-based event, HTC has announced the Desire Eye in India as well. The highly potential camera featuring device will be made available in the country exclusively on Amazon later in November. However, the company didn't reveal the pricing of the device, but HTC will reveal the pricing before it launches the device in the sub-continent.
The HTC Desire Eye can be bought in Matt White and Submarine Blue colors. The smartphone comes with a highly tweaked camera and selfie features including Face Tracking, Screen Share, Split Capture, Face Fusion, Live Makeup, Auto Selfie, Voice Selfie, Photo Booth, Crop Me In and more.
HTC Desire Eye: Key Specifications
The recently announced HTC Desire Eye comes with a 5.2-inch display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection offering a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
It is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU. Further, the smartphone also uses 2GB of RAM to run the softwares smoothly. It runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with HTC Sense 6.0 layered on top.
Obviously, the Desire Eye is one of those smartphons that comes with a overpowered camera features. You will see a 13MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, f/2.0, 28mm lens, which is capable of shooting video at 1080p quality.
What is more amazing is the fact that the even at the front face of the camera HTC has used a massive 13MP camera with dual LED Flash, f/2.0, 22mm wide-angle lens. That makes the devices supremely different from the selfie smartphones in the market.
The company has maintained the regular HTC smartphone features like the Dual front-facing stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers and HTC BoomSound. The device is water resistant (IPX7) too.
Built-in memory stands at 16GB, and it is expandable up to 128GB. There is a wide range of connectivity options available in the device including 4G LTE/ 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX codec, NFC and GPS with GLONASS HTC Desire Eye, which measures 151.7 x 73.8 x 8.5 mm in dimension and weighs in at 154 grams comes powered by a 2400 mAh battery.
