HTC One might be hitting the US store shelves today, but there is one more smartphone by the Taiwanese tech giant which is stealing the tech media spotlight today. Well, the talk is about the mid range Android handset which got launched in Taiwan today - HTC Desire L. The handset has been launched in the lines of the recently unveiled HTC Desire P and Desire Q.

While there is no information on the pricing and availability of the handset recently announced and also no clue on when will the handset will see the daylight in India and other countries including US and UK. But, HTC has outed the spec sheet of the Android microSIM handset flavoured with HTC's smooth Sense user interface.

Coming on to the briefing of the specs, HTC Desire L will come equipped with a compact 4.3-inch Super LCD2 display with a resolution of 480 x 800 and will be powered by 1 GHz dual core CPU, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB internal storage and microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Other features will include 5 mega pixel rear camera, recording capability of 720p resolution video, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, all in the dimensions of 128 x 66.9 x 8.9 mm and weight of 118 grams. Further, HTC Desire will boast a battery power of 1800 mAh. Meanwhile, there is no information on the Android vesrion of the handset, but reportedly it has been informed that it will available in pink, white, or black color variants.
