HTC Desire P Spotted Online: 4.3 inch Handset Goes Official on Company Website
Official pictures and specifications of HTC's new mid-range phones Desire P along with Desire Q was leaked a few days back. It was reportedly informed that the two new mid range handsets would be initially launched in China or Taiwan.
Now, according to recent news the HTC Desire P has been spotted on the official Taiwanese website, and reportedly, will be made available soon, exclusively via Chunghwa Telecom, for $360 (Rs. 19,441.27 approximately), in Taiwan.
Talking about specs, HTC Desire features a 4.3-inch Super LCD2 display and sports a Qualcomm MSM8225 Snapdragon S4 Play chipset with a 1GHz dual-core Cortex-A5 processor, Adreno 203 graphics and 768MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage, expandable microSD card slot up to 32 GB.
The handset will feature a 8MP camera with LED flash and WVGA video recording.
As for the connectivity features the smartphone is said to support quad-band GSM, dual-band HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth.
However there is no information on the version of the Android operating system the smartphone. There have been leaks suggesting that, it would run on 4.1 Jelly Bean, while few sources suggest that it might run on 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Meanwhile, there is also no information on whether HTC Desire P will be made available in other countries, as of now. After, the Desire P launch, now the HTC fans in Taiwan are awaiting the launch of Desire Q, lets see when will the company takes wraps off the next affordable hand
