HTC Desire V Android ICS Dual SIM smartphone preview

The market is almost getting flooded up with HTC Desire models and it seems HTC is not going to leave any alphabet in English language. We came across yet another handset from HTC i.e. the Desire V. This Android powered mobile from HTC which is announced this week have some decent specifications to go with the popular brand of HTC Desire.

HTC Desire V measures 118.5 x 62.3 x 9.3 mm and weighs 114 g. The handset features 4.00 inches display screen having 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The capacitive and Multi-touch enabled display unit has other interesting features too like Light sensor and also Proximity sensor. Display side is looking quite impressive.

The single core Cortex-A5 processor with 1000 MHz clock speed powers the processing efficiency of the handset. You can expect optimal options performance too with an Adreno 200 processor running in it. The processing speed is improved further with a 512 MB RAM and 4096 MB ROM. Up to 32 GB of external storage can be provided with provisions for having microSD and microSDHC card.

HTC Desire V has interesting multimedia features also. The 5 megapixels rear end camera with Auto focus and Geo tagging options is the main highlight. There is a camcorder support as well; however, there seems to be no secondary camera in this model. There are other standard specs for entertainment like multi-format music player, you tube player and also radio option with loud speaker facility. The 1650 mAh battery offers decent talktime and standby time.

This HTC Desire model supports browsing options with HTML, HTML5 and also Flash. There are in built online support for social applications like Youtube and also Picasa. You can support both 2G and 3G networks. Android ICS operating system offers excellent user interface. The connectivity and data transfer options include WiFi 802.11 b, g, n, Bluetooth 3.0 and USB 2.0. There are other utility apps as well like Calendar, Alarm and Calculator for daily usage.

HTC Desire V is expected to arrive in the handset market by the 3^rd quarter of this year and the price details are yet to be finalized. It reaches the market in shiny white outfit.
