Last week, HTC and Verizon Wireless, leading US carrier sent out invites to the tech media world for a launch event on November 13. The tech analysts anticipated that the US version ofJ Butterfly – the 5 inch full HD display handset by the Taiwanese firm – will be launched at the event.
Now it looks like, the anticipated was quite authentic. This can be said as recently, @evleaks, the much reputed source when it comes to HTC handsets has leaked official press render image of HTC Droid DNA ahead of official release. If that image is true then then most probably HTC will launch 1080p phablet at Verizon network at the New York city event. The first report was published on Verizon controlled DROID DOES site.
The site also promised the pre-launch event to be covered exclusively through Google+ Page. Further, the new leaked image shows the front and back display of DROID DNA. The image also confirmed the presence of faster 4G LTE connectivity and Beats Audio capable of providing enhanced sound effects with utmost clarity.
Going by the earlier rumor rounds, Droid DNA is rumored to be the US version of J Butterfly, the handset analysts predict that it will have similar features and specifications including a 5 inch display with resolution of 1080 x 1920, which will total to a pixel density of 441 ppi. The handset will also come packed with quad core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8MP or 12MP rear camera, 2MP front facing camera for video calling, 2,500 mAh battery and Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean OS topped with HTC Sense 4+ UI. Further, the processor offers support to 4G LTE connectivity.
Anyways, customers will have to remain patient until November 13 of this month when Verizon along with HTC is expected to reveal the confirmed specifications and features of the new product. HTC is expecting to boost the sales up with the launch of this product along with Verizon carrier.
