Its February! Time for the tech media world to get scorched by a variety of launches at the MWC 2013. However, it seems HTC is planning something really big for the event. Recently, the Taiwanese tech giant sent out invites for an event on February 19. Prior to MWC? Well, may be to avoid sharing the spotlight with the other companies.
A Beast To Arrive on February 19?
Reportedly, the Taiwanese tech giant has been rumored to uncover its upcoming flagship M7 on February 19, 2013. And now HTC is posting teasers related to its next big launch, every alternate day. The latest one hints on the handset's release date, as it reads 'Alive Soon'. At the same time, the offbeat teaser also signifies that a monster device is going to be unwrapped soon, and will surge the other offerings in the fauna.
As seen in the teaser a strong heart is pumping out blood into the circuit which indicates that amid all the camera and OS rumors, a massive processor with herculean capabilities is going to powerful the upcoming handset, obviously the rumored HTC M7. In the end, the basic message which the teaser delivers is that the beast is sleeping right now and it will be 'Alive Soon.'
HTC M7: Rumored Specs
Also recently, HTC CEO Peter Chou started a M7 battle cry at a Taipei event hinting that its time for M7 to launch. So far, there have been several rumors regarding the possible specifications and renders of the handset.
The most interesting one to capture all media highlights was when reports came in, informing that the M7 will be packing an ultrapixel camera having three layers of 4.3MP sensors on each other. Well! That sounds definitely amazing and worry time for Nokia PureView technology and Apple Retina Display.
Moving ahead, reports also informed that HTC M7 will land on shelves equipped with 4.7 inch 1080p SLCD 3 display, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5.0, 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad core processor with a new GPU, 13MP rear camera and 2.1MP front camera for video calling, 32GB internal storage, 2GB RAM, LTE, HSPA+, Beats Audio integration and a 2,300 mAh battery.
Though, there is no confirmation on the market release dates of M7, however, the ongoing speculations claim that the handset will be released on March 8, 2013 followed by February 19 unboxing. Also, there are reports suggesting that the M7 will come in two color variants - Black and Silver/White.
However, these details regarding the specs, release, availability, color options and others are only from tech gossipers and there is no word from HTC so far.
