HTC M7 Coming on February 19: Snippets On Specs, Release, Availability and Color Options

February 2013 has arrived! This month, the tech world is definitely going to be sizzled with a carthold of launches at the MWC 2013. However, a few companies are planning to uncover some of their major offerings prior to the event in order to gain more attention.

HTC is one such tech firm, which is avoiding the spotlight of MWC 2013. The Taiwanese tech giant will be holding press events simultaneously in New York City and London. These events might probably be to unveil the highly rumored M7 smartphone.

Ongoing rumors and speculations regarding HTC M7 hint at the possible physical design, internal specifications and the incorporation of Sense 5 user interface.

The latest one comes in from HTC Source, citing a tipster. The report claims that though HTC's selling plans remain unknown, it is clear that the handset will be launched in more than one color option.

While this information is made clear and with only a few days left for the special press conference, Gizbot has come up with all the details that are known about the upcoming flagship smartphone - M7.

Specifications

Going by earlier reports, M7 could pack a 4.7 inch 1080p SLCD 3 display, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5.0, 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad core processor with a new GPU, 13MP rear camera and 2.1MP front camera for video calling, 32GB internal storage, 2GB RAM, LTE, HSPA+, Beats Audio integration and a 2,300 mAh battery.

Release & Availability

HTC will unveil the handset a week ahead of MWC 2013, which speculated to be on February 19, 2013. According to the latest report, the handset will be released into the market on March 8, 2013, which is less than a month from the launch date. As of now, there is no information on the supported carriers or on the initial markets it will start selling.

Aesthetics & Color Options

With the leaked pictures of the handset, HTC M7 could presumably come in Black color variant. But, the recent report claims that the handset will also come in Silver/White color option. Moreover, as the leaked images does not show a two-toned color scheme, the silver/white variant handset is speculated to have silver sides and back casing along with white glass bezel.

There is also a higher chance for HTC to choose aluminum casing as the initial rumors claimed that the handset might have an aluminum uni-body case as in One S.

However, these details regarding the specs, release, availability, color options and others are only based on hearsay. None of them can be confirmed until HTC unveils the handset or mentions a word about it. Unfortunately, the One series manufacturer remains tight-lipped about M7.
