HTC M8 Ace: Alleged Press Shot Leaked Ahead of Anticipated Launch
Taiwan's tech titan HTC, which has been struggling to stay afloat in the handset business, seems to be taking no chance in beating its arch rivals. HTC already have had a tough time in the past few years and 2014 could be even more critical.
Nevertheless, the company still has aspirations for the HTC One (M8) and hopes to emerge as a winner in the global handset market.
Apart from the flagship phone, HTC might launch new variants of the HTC One (M8) in the mid-range category to feed the young brigade. There have been constant rumors about the HTC One M8 Mini and another handset, dubbed the HTC M8 Ace.
Just last month, we had reported that a U.K-based retailer was offering the HTC One (M8) in May.

Until March, it was widely assumed that the HTC One (M8) and the HTC M8 Ace could be all together different devices. Now, all of the sudden it appears that the HTC M8 Ace could be none other than the HTC One (M8) Mini; however, confusion remain over the real device.
Today, an alleged picture of HTC M8 Ace has popped up online, courtesy @evleaks. The HTC M8 Ace looks exactly like the One (M8). The forthcoming phone has a rounded corners and an HTC logo beneath the display. Going by the leaked press shot, the display of the phone is blurred out, but one can easily trace Sense 6.0 UI.
Reportedly the mini version of flagship HTC One (M8) could feature a 4.5-inch 720p HD display, 1.4GHz quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, 13MP rear-facing camera, 5MP front-facing camera and Android 4.4 Kitkat with Sense 6.0 on top of it.
Nothing much can be fetched out just by looking at the leaked press shot. May be HTC has plans to release a mini version of the One (M8) or we could possibily see a low-cost version with less gloried hardware. Watch this space for more action!
