When it comes to the most important event for the telecommunications industry, the annually held international Mobile World Congress is definitely the one which almost all awaits in awe. This means that all smartphone makers are quite prepared to unleash their products for this year, next week in the same event which is taking place in Barcelona, Spain.
One among these lot, which is rumored to come up with its products, is the Taiwan based premium smartphone maker HTC. The rumors and leaks surrounding the company's new smartphone line-up has been pulling the manufacturer's name frequently to the headlines. This time around the company's codenamed M8 smartphone, which might be released in the market with the name HTC One 2 has once again surfaced online.

The fresh press render of the HTC M8 smartphone comes courtesy of the well-known Twitter leakster @evleaks. Looking at the image, it appears that the device shares the design of the company's most popular HTC One handset. While the other notice-worthy thing is a protective covering on the HTC One 2 smartphone. On the other hand, the other recent leak coming from the same leakster also says that the device would hit the market with the new name, "The All New One."
There are not much information pertaining to the specs of the device, not at least the confirmed ones. However, rounding up the rumors and several leaks from the past, it might come with a a dual-sensor rear camera, quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, and MicroSD card support. The new Sense 6.0 UI, which is integrated with Android 4.4 KitKat, was also visible in the previous leak. Moreover, we can see a large front-facing camera (probably 5MP, as rumored) with a flash next to it. Dual speakers are included on top and at the bottom of the screen. The display could measure about 5-inch with a Full HD resolution (1080p).
It should be noted that these are all the rumored specs which are yet to receive official confirmation. There are no clues about the pricing and availability of the device. But since the International Mobile World Congress 2014 is the only event, which is fast descending upon the smartphone makers around the globe, there are chances we could see the smartphone out there. The event will take place next week in Barcelona, Spain.
