HTC One M8 To Launch in New York City Next Month

Following the league of devices consisting the the rumored Samsung Galaxy S5, Nokia Lumia 1820, LG G3, which are said to be this year's flagship smartphones, HTC's upcoming M8 might also be seen soon. Latest report pertaining to the launch of the M8 device suggests that it will be launched in second half of (late) March in an event in New York City.

HTC One M8 To Launch in New York City Next Month

The news comes courtesy of sensational Twitter user @evleaks. Thus, if the leakster is to be believed, there is no point waiting for the device to be seen in the Mobile World Congress 2014.

So far, the successor of the HTC One has been called by different names including HTC One 2 and HTC One+. There are no specific details on which name the company would actually go with. It should also be noted that the company has not officially spoken about the device as yet. Nor the rumored details of the smartphone has received any solid confirmation.

Of all the new features that would be incorporated in the device, the QHD screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels could be one. Apart from these, the device is rumored to come with a 5-inch 1080p display, 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 2,900mAh battery, microSD slot for expandable storage and Android 4.4 KitKat.

Also a recent leak suggested that HTC M8 would come with on-screen buttons consisting of back, home, and multi-tasking buttons.
