HTC M9 and M9 Prime Could Arrive in the First Quarter of 2015

The dust may not have settled on the brilliant new HTC One (M8) smartphone, and already we are dealing with rumors and speculations related to the HTC M8 Prime. However, it seems like even more rumors are streaming out of HTC's systems, and this time all roads lead to a couple of devices the blogosphere is calling HTC M9 and HTC M9 Prime.

If we are to follow previous rumors related to the company and all its so-called "rumored" devices, it seems like the HTC M8 Prime might never see the light of the day. And that's because there have been reports in the past that the device might have been already cancelled.

However, HTC is now said to be planning o launch a Prime version of its next-generation flagship smartphone, expected to be called M9. And before we start jumping into conclusions, it needs to be said that everything here has to be taken with a pinch of salt.

According to popular leakster @evleaks, both the HTC M9 and HTC M9 Prime are expected to be introduced in the first quarter of 2015. Interestingly enough, the leakster has also revealed that the M9 Prime is also expected to be released before the regular M9 offering from the company.

As expected, details related to the M9 and the M9 Prime are few and far at the moment. However, going by what usually happens, the Prime version of the device to be more advanced, apart from being more expensive. And as far as design is concerned, users can expect HTC to follow the same route as it did with the One (M8).

For the records, the now canceled M8 Prime was already rumored to feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD (1,440 x 2,560) display, Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, and LTE-A Cat. 6. More on this is expected to develop in the upcoming days.
