HTC Might Announce M8 Eye With 13MP Duo Camera, 5.2-Inch Display Next Month
New HTC smartphone called the Eye has been making a round in the rumor section in the technology segment over the Internet. We all know that the HTC M8 Eye is in the making but it was not sure what HTC would modify on the phone which would resemble the flagship One (M8).
According to the Android developer @LlabTooFeR who is quite active on Twitter, the new HTC M8 Eye will come with a regular camera. Meaning, HTC will drop its ultrapixel camera sensor and go with the regular mega pixel.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet blockquote" lang="en"><p>M8_EYE is M8 with 13MP Duo camera. It's coming next month with Android 4.4.4 and Sense 6.0 on board. Die ultrapixels, die :) LOL</p>— LlabTooFeR (@LlabTooFeR) <a href="https://twitter.com/LlabTooFeR/status/515525925812047872">September 26, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>Recommended: Sony Xperia Z3 Compact Officially Launched in India: 5 Key Features You Ought to Know
The Twitter user adds that the M8 Eye will sport a 13MP Duo Camera instead of the 4 MP ultrapixel sensor that it uses in HTC One (M8). The front-facing camera would remain at 5MP, qualifying it to be a "selfie" camera.
Further, @LlabTooFeR also says that it's coming next month with Android 4.4.4 and Sense 6.0 on board. Other specs would be similar to that of the original HTC One (M8) smartphone.
There has been some talk about the M8 Eye replacing the 5 inch screen on the HTC One (M8) with a slightly larger 5.2 inch glass. The rest of the specs are supposed to be the same including a 1080 x 1920 resolution, a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of native storage, a 128GB capacity microSD slot and a 2600mAh battery. The HTC M8 Eye is expected to launch before the end of October.
However, things are pretty vague at the moment regarding the new HTC phone. However, we will keep you updated about the matter.
