HTC Omega Features
The design of this HTC Omega smart phone is of a candy bar. The screen display gives it a brilliant outlook with its 16M color support and 800 X 480 pixel WVGA. The handset is enabled with a multi touch. A pinch to zoom facility is also available. The general features of the smart phone display screen like an accelerometer sensor for UI auto rotate, a Predictive text input and a proximity sensor for auto turn off is present.
The system CPU is Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM825. The memory storage is pretty good with the device offering a mesmerizing 16 GB internal storage. There won’t be a memory slot for microSD card. The browser options are fully enabled in the new HTC phone. It supports a HTML, XHTML, WAP 2.0. HTC Omega even features predictive text input, SMS (thread view), MMS, Email, Push mails, IM, etc.
The phone has an 8 MP camera capable of capturing high resolution images. The resolution is 3264 X 2448 pixels. The device has a LED flash for better image capturing. The HTC Omega has other features like an Autofocus and a Geo tagging feature. There won’t be any secondary camera in the handset, which means no video calls through the phone. The video captured with the camera in the handset will be of 720p HD. The pixel resolution is 1280 X 720 pixel.
Excellent connectivity solutions are provided in the handset with a Bluetooth v2.1 combined with A2DP and av2.0 microUSB for better synchronization. The WiFi of this HTC phone is also a much updated one with 802.11 b/g/nether head set and is supported with the standardised 3.5 mm audio jack. The audio/video player in the handset is capable of playing different audio/video files, coming in various formats listed like MP3, MPEG4, WMV, 3GP, 3G2 and so on.
The device will support many online application softwares like Bing Maps, Bing Search, Facebook, etc. It is even a Xbox live combatable.
