In 2013, the HTC One was clearly one of the most popular smartphones, still the Taiwanese manufacturer suffered a slump in sales by the end of the year. Once top of the heap in the Android smartphone game, the last few years had left HTC a little empty-handed. While mobile makers like Samsung and local brands in India Micromax had gained popularity with their brand new devices.
But looks like, HTC is all set to fight back and capture the limelight with its new beefy range of One series smartphones in 2014. This can be said as just now Twitter sensation @evleaks has leaked an image of the all new 2014 version of the HTC One smartphone which is tipped for launch in March 2014.
Reportedly, the image shows the 2014 version of HTC One in gold color with curved edges and a rare form factor. As seen in the image in the tweet below, one can also locate a dual flash, and also the presence of the dual camera sensor on the back-panel.
HTC One 2014, also also known as HTC M8 aka HTC One 2 has been leaked several times before. If rumors are to be believed, the HTC One 2 may come with a 5-inch Full HD 1080 display, a quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, backed by 3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal memory.
Like its predecessor, the HTC M8 is expected to come with a "twin-sensor" rear-facing camera, besides a 5-megapixel front facing shooter. Further, the flagship-handset is said to run Android 4.4 Kitkat with Sense 6.0.
Already, HTC has revealed to the tech media space the the mobile maker is all set to hold a press event on March 25, 2014 in New York. Analysts belive that HTC will launch the much-anticipated HTC One successor on the said date.
