HTC One Android 4.3 Update Starts Rolling Out Internationally: What About India Update?
Just a couple of days back, Jason Mackenzie, president of HTC America, tweeted saying that Android 4.3 would be rolled out to the HTC One developer edition. As of now, the update has is available in U.S. Surprisingly. Earlier this week, even before Jason Mackenzie had sent out a tweet, HTC One owners in Taiwan had already begun receiving the update.
Moreover, the update is not only restricted to developer editions but is also said to go global to all unlocked versions of the device as well. Sadly, there are no details on whether the company has pushed an update for Sense UI which Mackenzie had mentioned earlier this week in his tweet.
The update comes in a bulky 564.04 MB package and has been reportedly said to bring about a great deal of change in HTC's popular flagship, including a low-light camera algorithm improvement.
When it comes to changes that have come with the recent Android 4.3 update, HTC One owners will be seeing a new battery charging percentage indicator which was previously not present in the phone. The update brings new improved gallery and better low-light performance. One can also notice an addition of a few more video highlight options. Users will now be able to add soundtracks to the highlights. The update also fixes the minor bugs and the overall system is reported to be more stable after installing the update.
The update has just been released today and in India it might come soon. There is no need to worry if you have not received it yet. Users can check for the update manually by going to the Settings menu. You can then go inside the "About Phone" area, move to Software updates and click Check for updates. In the mean time have a look at the screenshots of the update:
