Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has already released its flagship device the HTC One M8 globally. The company's most recent handset with highly tweaked hardware and software features have been one of the best handsets launched this year.
Last year HTC had made the color variant of the HTC One handset available soon after the release of the regular model. The company is going to do the same thing with this year's flagship model the One M8 handset. Initially, HTC released the One M8 in Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold colors.
We have already seen a leaked press renders of the HTC One M8 in Pink and Blue color casing earlier and now the recent one has appeared online touting a vibrant Red casing.
The news come from HTC's global communication manager Jeff Gordon, who tweeted saying that the Red variant of the HTC One M8 has been launched in Taiwan today and also shared a 3D render of the smartphone on Sketchfab. You can have a look at it.
The Blue and the Red HTC One M8 are also made available now on pre-order in UK from online retailer MobileFun.
There is no word on when the Pink variant will go on sale. But it should be noted that the specs of the handset will remain the same.
Thus , you will get the same 5.0-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection. Apart from the Quad Core processor Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.5 GHz, the phone also comes with Adreno 330 GPU coupled with 2 GB RAM. In terms of OS, it runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) layered with the company's proprietary Sense 6.0 UI.
Imaging is best as always in the HTC One devices, and this time also the company has chosen the UltraPixel primary rear camera with dual LED Flash, BSI Sensor,F/2.0 aperture and 28 mm lens. In fact, there are two rear cameras installed in the handset this time. The secondary rear camera helps to capture depth information of the subject. At the front there is a 5 MP front-facing shooter capable of taking great selfies and making video calls. The rear camera is capable of shooting Full HD (1080p) video with HDR mode as well.
The handset comes with a native storage capacity of 16GB and it is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot. HTC One (M8) comes with 4G LTE support and other connectivity optiosn remain standard with the inclusion of 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX codec, NFC and GPS with GLONASS. You will also find MHL support in the device.
The phone supports only nano SIM. The smartphone which measures 9.35 mm thick and weighs160 grams comes powered with 2600 mAh battery.
