HTC One M8, the next-generation big ticket phone from the house of HTC, has been leaked several times before in last couple of months. With the Mobile World Congress (MWC) is just days away, we might catch a rare glimpse of HTC One 2 (HTC One M8) in Barcelona later this month.
A lot has been said and written about HTC's One 2 flagship handset. It is already being assume that the HTC M8 might look similar to its predecessor i.e. HTC One.
Today, we got to first rare glimpse of long rumored device in a series of picture leaks. The first picture shows rear-back panel of HTC One 2. Going by the picture, we can clearly see two rear-facing cameras with the dual-LED Flash.
Contrary to rumors, HTC One 2 won't have a fingerprint sensor, at least, if one asked to believe this leaked picture. Also, the phone's design hasn't changed much from the original HTC One. We can't say whether the handset revealed by the picture leak is a prototype device or not. For a time being, HTC One 2 is expected to pack two twin cameras with dual-LED Flash and of course no fingerprint sensor on the back.
HTC's long rumored M8 handset once again appeared, and this time around we can see its front side in a clear possible manner. The leaked picture reveals that the forthcoming flagship phone to have small bezel display. Last week, it was re-powered that the device might have bezel-less display. Another noticeable thing one get to see are the on-screen three way capacitive Android buttons.
Meanwhile, another crucial update in respect to HTC One 2 reveals much more about the upcoming flagship phone. Believe it or not, the HTC One 2 is expected to get a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, @Llabtoofer reports. A 5-megapixel front-facing camera sounds really cool. This shows that HTC is closely following Chinese and Indian handset makers very closely. These days it is not hard to find a phone without having a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, especially, in the mid-range segment.
The HTC One 2 is rather significant handset for the struggling Taiwanese giant. HTC, once known for making killer handsets, is struggling to meet its targets. While players like Samsung and Apple, continues to witness increase in overall sales, HTC, on the other hand, reported its 25th consecutive month of declining year-on-year (YoY) sales.
Here are the rumored specs of HTC One 2:
5-inch Full HD display
Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC
16GB/32GB of internal storage
Android 4.4 Kitkat with Sense 6.0
Two twin cameras
5MP front-facing camera
