HTC One M9 To Feature 1080p Resolution Display?
As many tech industry analysts have already stated, HTC needs to come up with something unbelievable in order to win over the likes of Apple and Samsung. Thus far, rumours claim that HTC will likely announce the successor to the One (M8) next month, and there's little doubt the device will be dubbed the One (M9).
Despite a seemingly never-ending leaked images of the purported device, there's no solid confirmation about the handset's screen resolution.

Today, alleged wallpaper from the forthcoming HTC One (M9) has been leaked ahead of the launch. Notably, the leaked image itself confirms that the device will pack a Full HD resolution display.
The current rumour suggests HTC will reveal the One (M9) with a 5-inch display during an event on March 1.Meanwhile, the One (M9) is expected to still use 1080p resolution, although some rumours have suggested the device may sport a 2K resolution screen in an attempt to differentiate the two devices.
It is highly probable, given the competition from the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S6, with its 5.1-inch QHD Super AMOLED screen, that HTC will improve the current display panel.
Recent rumours have it that HTC may build a fingerprint reader on the rear back side, to boost the device's security credential. Recent reports suggest HTC is experimenting with large-screened phones, typically known as phablets. Though, it is highly unlikely that we would see the device next month at the annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
Here's an overview of what we already know about HTC's One (M8) successor, based on leaks and remours we've seen so far:
It will probably be called the HTC One M9, according to several past reports.
HTC One M9 will probably look much identical to its predecessor.
The HTC One M9 will reportedly come with the latest processor from Qualcomm called the Snapdragon 810.
It will likely to have a 20MP rear facing camera.
Expect to see 16GB and 32GB storage options.
