The next-gen HTC One (M9) is certainly coming, according to a new report. A report published on Monday claims that HTC might unveil the M9 handset during next-year's Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
Rumors have settled on a 5.2-inch QHD screen (2,560 x 1,440). This would allow HTC to compete against the likes of Samsung and Sony. In addition to that, the purported handset is reported to feature a quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, paired with 3GB of RAM. However, there is a possibility to see a Snapdragon 810 processor, which will be released early next year.
The device will also offer 64GB of storage space, alongside a microSD card slot (up to 128GB). Android 5.0 Lollipop will come pre-installed. A higher capacity battery, better design aesthetics and a higher megapixel camera are bound to make the next-gen hardware powerful.

However, now, it appears that the device is expected to flaunt a smaller 5.2-inch QHD panel. The Taiwanese smartphone maker plans to unveil the HTC One M9 during the Mobile World Congress, which is happening in Barcelona, Spain from March 2-5, 2015.
