HTC One Max Dual SIM Variant To Be Launched Soon in India

Just before the official release of HTC One Max, it was assumed that the device would pack a dual SIM functionality. Even the alleged images leaked long before the launch made it clear that the HTC One Max will come in a dual SIM variant.

Although HTC hasn't made the special dual SIM variant official, however, India consumers may get to buy one as early as possible. HTC One Max Dual SIM variant is indeed real, and ready to be launched in the country any time soon.

Earlier today, GizBot spotted that some 400 units of HTC One Max Dual SIM were shipped into India on November 29. All thanks to Zauba, a logistics website that basically tracks imports and exports to and from India.

The value of each unit is worth Rs. 38,445. Moreover, each unit was shipped into India legally with IMEI list attached.

This means that HTC is all set to announce a dual SIM variant of One Max in India any time soon. This is not the first time when HTC is coming up with dual SIM variant of a high-end handset. HTC was one of the first manufacturers to come up with HTC One Dual SIM in the higher segment

Now it is to be seen when exactly HTC announces a dual SIM variant of One Max in the world's fastest growing smartphone market.

HTC One Max - Highlighted Specifications

HTC One Max comes with a massive 5.9-inch Super LCD display having aresolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Under the hood, a 1.7GHz quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 SoC with Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB ram keep this beast running. Unfortunately, HTC has not used the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (quad-core) chipset.

The One Max features a 4MP UltraPixel camera, a similar imaging technology found inside the HTC One. The rear back camera does allow you to record Full HD 1080p videos with ease, but the most critical feature: Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) feature is missing from the scene.

There are some cosmetic changes made by HTC. For instance, the rear back cover is now removable, so that you can use a microSD card to upgrade the 16GB of built-in internal memory. The device measures 10.29mm in terms of thickness and weighs 217grams.

The fitted internal battery, a 3,300 capacity should be enough to give ample juice. On the negative side, user will not able to change the battery, as the design of HTC One Max doesn't allow you to replace a battery.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean comes out of the box with Sense 5.5 on the top of it.

HTC One Max incorporates a fingerprint scanner given beneath the camera module. The sensor acts as a quick launcher and up to three apps with three different fingers are supported.

With the HTC One Max, you can consider accessories compatible with the device. The given accessories include: a stylus, BoomSound speakers, a Power Clip Case that brings additional 1,200mAh battery juice and HTC Fetch accessory.
