HTC One Max is now Available Online for Rs 53,909, 3 Mid-Range Desire Phones Coming in 2013
It's that time of the year, when HTC seems to be all geared up to steal the limelight of the Android market in India again. This time the Taiwanese handset maker has come up with it's latest high end flagship, the 5.9-inch HTC One Max.
HTC One Max @ Rs 56,490
In an exclusive meeting Faisal Siddiqui, Country Head of HTC India has confirmed GizBot that "HTC One Max will hit the stores in India during next week at an official price of Rs 56,490."
Let us also inform you that the massive handset is already available for online purchase at TheMobileStore at a price of Rs 53,909. Further, HTC One Max will land in India along with the new range of HTC Smart accessories which includes, HTC One Mini flip covers, HTC Mini + and HTC Fetch.
HTC One Mini Flip Covers, HTC Mini + And HTC Fetch Now in India
HTC One Mini flip covers will be available at a price of Rs 1,500 in six color variants while HTC Mini + (the bluetooth headset in shape of a phone, which will pair up with the HTC One series with bluetooth or NFC) will cost you around Rs 7,500.
On the other hand, HTC Fetch, the bluetooth tag which comes in the form of a keyring and helps you track your phone will come at a price of Rs 2,500. Faisal Siddiqui confirmed that all the three accessories will be available in the market in the next 8-10 days.
HTC One Max - Coming With A Stylus?
Coming back to HTC One Max, its huge screen is also compatible with a generic capacitive stylus and Faisal Siddiqui disclosed that HTC might include a stylus as a part of introductory offer in the box. However, he concluded saying, "We are yet to make a decision on the same."
HTC One mini - 2 New Color Variants in India
Further, on the sidelines of the conversation, the HTC official also informed that HTC One Mini which is already available in India at a price of Rs 32,999; will now come in two new color variants including Blue and Red. Again, the stocks will be available by next week.
3 New Desire Phones By 2013-end
Further, the Faisal Siddiqui also revealed that HTC is looking to capture 15% of the smartphone market share in India, which is right now 4% to 6% reportedly. Hence, relatively the company is looking forward towards the introduction of slew of new devices in the coming months.
Apart from HTC One Max, "we plan to launch 3 more mobile phones before the end of 2013 under the Desire family." GizBot also got to know that the upcoming phones could range around Rs 11,000 to Rs 30,000 flavoured by Android Jelly Bean OS.
HTC Windows Phone 8 Plans
Commenting on the ongoing rumors and speculations of an upcoming HTC Windows Phone 8 handset, Faisal Siddiqui said, "Right now, we don't have any immediate plans, but HTC and Microsoft relationship still stands."
