HTC One Mini and 6-inch One Max Phablet Pegged for Late July and Early September Launch
It looks like HTC is secretly prepping to splash the tech arena, which a series of blockbuster handsets to conquer the market shares on Samsung, Nokia and Apple globally. Already, the release of HTC One has given the opportunity to the Taiwanese phone maker to climb the stairs of success this quarter and now many rumors of its flagship variants are hot topics among tech gossipers.
These include, HTC One mini, the miniature version of HTC One and also HTC long rumored phablet, which has got a codename -- HTC One Max.
HTC One Mini -- Whats Latest?
In the coming days, HTC One Mini is set to face fierce competition. After all, Samsung has already launched Galaxy S4 Mini a little early than HTC forthcoming handset. It is known to all that HTC One Mini will be announced sometime August. Going by the latest leaks, Germany should be the first country to get the taste of HTC One Mini.
Now according to Androidnext.de, some fresh leaks around HTC One Mini have poured in. It was earlier said that the HTC One Mini would have 2GB of RAM. But sources close to Androidnext.de suggest that the Taiwanese giant have placed 1GB of RAM instead of 2GB. Under the hood, a surprisingly powerful 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor is a possibility along with 4.3-mega pixel UltraPixel camera.

The handset will be seen sporting a 4.3-inch 720p HD display alongside Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The internal memory stands at 16GB; however, 12GB will be available for use. The HTC One Mini is said to be fast considering it packs Adreno 305 GPU. It is also informed that both HTC One and the HTC One Mini will share similar design.
Moreover, as per latest reports, HTC Mini One could be announced in the last week of July followed by global launch in August. According to TelTarif.de, the HTC One is coming to Germany via O2 network. No information about expected street price is out yet.
There is a possibility to see Dual SIM version of HTC One Mini. The Taiwanese giant recently launched Desire 600 Dual SIM in the Indian market. More and more established tech vendors are placing Dual SIM in mid-to-high end handsets.
HTC One Max -- The 6 Inch Phablet?
If Samsung is excited to announce Galaxy Note 3 at IFA than HTC is also very much making a 6-inch phablet device. Multiple reports suggest that the Taiwanese giant is also considering a large sized handset to crush Note 3 and Sony Xperia Z Ultra. The release date is not known, but one could expect later this year.
The specifications of HTC One Max were recently surfaced on the web. The phone will have a 6-inch/5.9-inch Super LCD3 display having 1920 x 1080 pixels, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, UltraPixel camera, NFC, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi and 3,000mAh non-removable battery fitted inside.
