One of the possibilities are that the premium smartphone maker could announce the RECamera at the ‘Double Exposure' event. The video teaser recently released could be the hint to use the RECamera.

Dubbed as ‘Catching Air', the 12 second video shows a girl playing on a swing. The camera sits still on the surface below her. This suggests a wide angle on the camera.

At the end of the video we see #InFullView that again suggests the wide angle lens on the camera along with stationary wide recording abilities. The HTC One M8 has a nice wide front facing camera coming in at 88 degrees, but this appears to have be wider than that, maybe 100 degrees or more.

HTC had released a teaser video last month that suggested that the RECamera is water proof and can take slow motion videos. The camera which is touted to be a GoPro competitor was also leaked in images on the RECamera website.

However, the details about the new device in not confirmed and will be revealed at the event tonight. Stay tuned to GizBot and do follow us live on HTC 'Double Exposure' event here as we are covering it from ground zero.
