HTC Sensation Vs HTC Desire Head To Head Comparison
HTC has a large collection of Smartphones in the Indian market and today we take a closer look and compare 2 of those models from HTC. The models are HTC Sensation and HTC Desire.
Both are full touch screen based phones from the company and are available at two different price categories. HTC Sensation has a large 4.3 inch capacitive touch screen S LCD display as compared to the smaller 3.7 inch AMOLED capacitive full touch screen based display of HTC Desire.
Sensation is on the higher price band and as such offers an extra punch in almost all features and specifications as compared to Desire like for example the camera wherein the Sensation offers a large 8 Mega Pixel camera that also provides 1080p format video recording as compared to the 5 Mega Pixel and 720p format video recording of the Desire. HTC Sensation also offers a front 1.2 Mega Pixel camera whereas Desire does not have a secondary front facing camera. Thus the Desire lacks the video calling functionality offered by the Sensation.
On the entertainment and multimedia specs both the new mobile phones offer relatively similar format support and has software plug-ins for playback and recording of a wide variety of audio and video formats. They even provide playback of high definition video recording.
HTC Sensation and Desire both offer Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity in addition to USB PC connectivity and also offers GPRS, EDGE and high speed 3G internet surfing and downloading but the Sensation offer 3G data transfer speeds of up to 14 Mbps whereas the Desire offers data download speeds of around 7 Mbps only.
Both the devices offer Android Operating Systems but HTC Sensation offer the 2.3 Gingerbread version as compared to the 2.2 Froyo version found on the HTC Desire.
The price tag is where both the models vary in large proportions as the Sensation will cost you around Rs 28900 whereas the Desire can be yours for just Rs 16499. Thus both the new mobile phones are in an altogether different hemisphere and each phone is special in its own category.
