HTC Windows phone reaches the market

HTC has recently announced that their latest handset in the Chinese market will be a Windows based phone. The phone is termed as HTC Eternity. This will be the first Windows phone to hit the Chinese market.

Windows operating systems based phone are gaining high popularity now days. When the tech world thought android was the thing of the feature, Windows phones came with lots of promises. Nokia, Samsung etc have Windows phones under their sleeve. Now HTC has also entered this segment. Very few specs of the device are known till now but they look very impressive.

The phones design is unique. It is very different from other Windows phone launched in the market by other manufacturers. Below the touch screen there are three capacitive touch screen buttons like the ones found in android phones. This mobile comes in whole black colour finishing and has a very appealing look to it. The resemblance of the phone with HTC Titan is very much noticeable. The device is sufficiently compact and will be very light weight.

The screen has a size of 4.7 inches. The display packs in a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and is of Super LCD capacitive touch screen type. The screen is sufficiently large so that the users can enjoy videos and pictures in it without missing even the minute of details. There are dual cameras provided.

The main camera has a resolution of 8 mega pixels and the secondary video calling camera packs in a resolution of 1.3 mega pixels. There is a dual LED flash provided at the back that allows users to take good quality pictures even in low light conditions. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi with DLNA functionality, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS and USB. For entertainment purpose there will be audio and video player along with an integrated FM receiver.

HTC Eternityprice tag is not revealed yet but is expected to be affordable. The phone will hit the Chinese market soon. There is no word on the availability of this phone in other parts of the world.
