HTC M7: Real Render of Upcoming Flagship Smartphone Confirms Capacitive Buttons
It appears as though the first authentic render of HTC M7 has finally surfaced after some previous inaccurate leaks displaying the alleged phone. This is according to a report from HTC Source. HTC M7 is set to be the upcoming flagship device of the Taiwanese phone manufacturer, HTC. It is scheduled to be unveiled during the Mobile World Congress 2013 which is to be held at Barcelona.
The latest leaked picture shows the smartphone to feature capacitive buttons rather than on-screen keys. This may prove to be let down for several users which might cause them to disfavor the brand. But others might find this a welcome feature.
Other than this, there does not seem to be any other stand-out feature. The highlights of the smartphone might in the software and hardware configuration.
The phone is very similar to HTC 8X, a smartphone running on Windows Phone 8. HTC received laurels on the design of that phone. It looks as though, similar design is going to feature in the next android phone in the company's array. HTC Sense also seems to be in a new version, referred to as Sense 5.0. It appears to have some new icons which is similar to those seen in a couple of screenshots of Sense that had surfaced a few weeks ago.
The clock on the screen of the phone does display ‘Barcelona' where MWC is going to be held, semi-confirming the phone's launch venue and date. Also observed is a camera at the center having a flash at the back. Beats Audio branding is also visible.
The navigation buttons at the bottom seem to have been rearranged as well, which might take some getting used to for the HTC user.
