Huawei A199 Launched With 5 Inch Display, 2GB RAM, Dual SIM Support, Jelly Bean OS and More

Chinese major Huawei has shown the world that it can too beat Samsung and Apple, in the smartphone tally. Earlier this year, the makers behind the Huawei Ascend Mate 6.1 announced Asecend D2, a high-end device that can compete with Samsung’s Galaxy S4. Now the tech vendor is once again ready to grab few more eye balls with the Huawei A199. This would be company’s another attempt to woo International audiences residing in US and Western Europe. However, it is unknown whether the A199 by Huawei, will be restricted to Chinese market or not. The buzz says that the handset could be announced at an International level.

Talking about the specifications, it features a 5-inch 720 p HD display, 1.5GHz K3V2 Quad-Core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory( expandable up to 32GB via microSD card) ,an 8-mega pixel rear camera , a front facing camera, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and 2150mAh internal battery fitted inside. The handset has been spotted on Huawei’s official site, as reported by Engadget. Going by the internals, it seems that the tech vendor is trying too hard to beat its competitors. Undoubtedly, the specifications are quite modest, at least on paper. Whether the firm is planning to announce this very device in the Indian market is still unknown. Few days back, the Chinese vendor refreshed its budget lineup by announcing the Ascend G510 and Ascend Y300.

Ascend G510 – Specifications and highlighted features

The Huawei Ascend G510 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA LCD Display with resolution of 480x854 pixels ,1.2 GHz Qualcomm ARM Cortex-A5 Dual –Core processor , 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, 1GB internal memory ( expandable up to 32GB via microSD card), Android 4.1 Jelly Bean , a 5.0-mega pixel rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash , 0.3-mega pixel front facing camera , 3G, Wi-Fi , USB 2.0 , Bluetooth and 1,700 mAh battery fitted inside. The Ascend Y300 from Huawei packs a 4.0-inch WVGA LCD Display with resolution of 480x800 pixels, 1- GHz Qualcomm ARM Cortex-A5 Dual –Core processor, 512MB, 4GB ROM, 1GB internal memory (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card), a 5.0-mega pixel rear camera, 0.3-mega pixel VGA quality camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 , Bluetooth and 1,730 mAh battery inside.
