Huawei Ascend G700, G610 and P6 Now Available in India: Specs Comparison

Joining the group of manufacturers who have already launched their new devices in the Indian market this month, Huawei has also made three of its devices available in India. The devices however come in the mid-range price category and comes dubbed as Ascend G700, Ascend G610 and Ascend P6.

Lets take a look at the comparative rundown on the three devices:

Display

Ascend G700 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Ascend P6 comes with a smaller 4.7-inch capacitive touch screen display based on in-cell LCD screen technology with the same resolution. While Ascend G610 is the smallest of all with 4.5-inch IPS display and features a lower resolution of 960 x 540 pixels.

Processor, RAM and OS

Huawei's Ascend G700 runs on 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and Ascend P6 runs on 1.5 GHz quad-core Huawei K3V2 processor. Both these device features 2GB of RAM. On the other hand, Ascend G610 runs on 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. All three device run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS.

Camera

Ascend G700 comes with an 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and 1.3MP front-facing shooter. Ascend P6 features 8MP camera with BSI sensor, F2.0 aperture, 4cm macro lens and 5-megapixel front-facing shooter with auto facial-enhancing capabilities. The device also comes with a 1080P full HD video recording and playback capability.

Ascend G610 features 5MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and 0.3 (MP) VGA front-facing camera. Thus one can say that the Ascend P6 is better for taking pictures and video.

Storage

Both Ascend G700 and P6 houses 8GB internal memory and the Ascend G610 comes with 4GB internal memory. All devices come with an expandable storage up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

Conclusion

All three device come with mid range specifications. THe Ascend P6 comes with a better imaging technology. Both G700 and and P6 come with a 2GB RAM which helps a lot for multitasking purposes. There is a difference in the display as well. People looking for a larger screen can go for the 5 inch G700. In terms of pricing to specs, the device is also the best among the three.
