The Chinese smartphone maker Huawei seems to be on a launching spree. Just yesterday, the live photos and specifications of Ascend GX1 smartphone were leaked online and today the handset has been officially announced in China.
At a price tag of 1590 CNY (Rs 16,200 approx.), Huawei Ascend GX1 smartphone is available for purchase in China via the company's online store.
Huawei Ascend GX1 - Key Specifications
Reportedly, the all new Huawei Ascend GX1 is basically a phablet which sports a 6-inch 720p IPS display and comes with minimal bezels along with screen-to-body ratio of 80.5%.
Further, the Ascend GX1 is clocked with 1.2GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor paired with 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera supporting LED flash and a 2 MP front-facing camera. Running Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box, the handset supports an internal memory of 8GB and can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD slot.
On the connectivity front, you'll find 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and GPS/ A-GP. Moreover, the Huawei Ascend GX1 measures 161 x 84.5 x 9.2 mm, weighs at 173 grams and comes loaded with 3500mAh battery, which the company claims to deliver a dual-SIM standby time of up to 198 hours.

The new phone is currently only available in China market in two variants. The price is roughly around 1590 CNY (Rs 16,200 approx.) and there is still no word from the company as to when the Huawei Ascend GX1 will be available in other markets including India. However, one can expect the launch somewhere around early next year.
