Huawei's most awaited smartphone this year - the Ascend Mate 3 (MT7-TL00) has been rumored and leaked several times in the past. Few of the major specs of the handset including the processor and the display size were already leaked in past, but what we were not sure about until now was the camera aspect and other main specs of the smartphone.
The Latest Huawei Ascend Mate 3 Smartphone Full Specification (Rumor)
If latest reports are to be considered then it looks like some more information are out. In fact, these information about the Huawei Ascent Mate 3 comes courtesy of the leaked AnTuTu Benchmark test screenshot.
According to the leaked image, like its predecessor (Ascend Mate 2), the Ascend Mate 3 will come with a 6.1-inch, but this one is Full HD display. The smartphone will be powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 920 chipset (four Cortex-A7 plus four Cortex-A15 cores) and Mali-T624 MP4 graphics chip coupled with either 2GB or 3GB RAM and it will run on Android 4.4.2 OS.
The recent leak also shows that the Ascend Mate 3 features 13MP Rear Camera, which will be capable of shooting video at 1080p resolution and a 5MP front facing shooter as well.
The Kirin 920 is the company's home-brewed chipset which also powers Huawei's another phone called Honor 6. Moreover, regarding the chipset, Huawei reportedly had also said it was better than Snapdragon 805 SoC from Qualcomm.
Basically, the Ascend Mate lineup from Huawei mostly include mid-range devices but with the specs as such, the upcoming Ascend Mate 3 might not be sticking to the same section, but head on to the higher category.
Moreover, what is even interesting about the phone is the presence of the secondary hole at the back panel, which was seen in the recently leaked image of the handset. Apart from the rear camera module, which is already present in the phone, what else could Huawei use in the rear side? That still leaves us with more questions. Whether it is a fingerprint sensor or something entirely different, we wouldn't know at the moment. Rumors also suggest that the rear side of the Ascend Mate 3 will be clad with metal panel.
Now, what remains to be revealed about the Ascend Mate 3 are the battery capacity, price and availability. But if recent rumors are to be taken into account, Huawei might unveil the handset at the event, which will take place on September 4 in Berlin, on the eve of the IFA trade show.
